Creative Camera Phone Photography
Camera phones have been around for about fifteen years. Most people carry a mobile phone, some of which now have very high tech camera sensors and lots of megapixels. If you forgot your camera and want to create a memory – No Worries! Just whip out your phone and capture the moment!
There are hundreds of apps available for taking, editing and manipulating your camera phone photos. These photos can then be shared with others via text or on social media sites such as Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter. You can make a postcard with one of your camera phone images and have it delivered to someone via the app Postagram. You can also create short videos from your photos including music using the app Flipagram. There are apps for adding filter effects and frames to your images. So many apps; so little time!
Photographer Jeffri Moore shares with us her passion and excitement about camera phone photography. Using examples of her work, Jeffri will show you some of her favorite apps and editing methods. Among other apps, students will receive instruction on using Snapseed – the “go to” app for basic editing (and more) for many camera phone photographers.
